Executive Summary

Verdantix conducted interviews with construction management software (CMS) customers of firms that participated in our 2025 CMS Green Quadrant (see Verdantix Green Quadrant: Construction Management Software (CMS) (2025)). Our interviews with decision-makers across a variety of geographies and buyer personas provide insight into why buyers seek CMS, the vendor selection criteria buyers are prioritizing and which factors dictate the success or failure of CMS implementation. Prospective buyers should use this report to help avoid common pitfalls, target areas of high value in their own software selection process, and align organizational needs with a software provider and its supporting capabilities. CMS providers should use this report to better understand customer needs and challenges, allowing them to improve solution offerings.
