Rhys Davis

Former Chair of the  ISO Technical Committee (ISO/TC251) Asset Management

Rhys Davies is the Physical Asset Senior Manager at one of the largest construction projects in the Middle East. In this role, he is responsible for developing asset management systems while also seeking to influence design within a complex ecosystems of designers spanning the globe.

Rhys was the Chair of the ISO Technical Committee TC251 Asset Management for 14 years, leading 35 countries in developing International Standards for Asset Management – including the ISO55000 series – until 2024. Rhys is a Fellow of the Institute of Asset Management (IAM), as well as a registered Asset Management Professional. He has been involved in a variety of roles including IAM Board (2014 -2016) and IAM Council. He is also a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).

In his spare time, he remains focused on supporting early career asset managers to grow their capabilities through mentoring and development activities.
